Late at night and trying to set up a YouTube channel for our videos – soooo much easier posting “they say”… It’s the future “they say”…. Needles in eyeballs is a more enjoyably straightforward experience “Connie says” !

http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWVqQZbZrZWK-UpNAd4aD_A There is a channel… There is nothing on it yet… It will go live complete with videos….. eventually!

The Nature of a Brass Band

We found this funny a while back and shared it on our Facebook page. Although harsh, we found it a humorous take on the various positions in a brass band and hope you do too.

5 reasons you should take up music

1. Playing A Musical Instrument Makes You Cleverer:
Many studies have been conducted on the effects of music to the brain. We are LIVE!

So this post is a filler really, just so that something is up on site and you guys don’t end up looking at a blank page thinking “are these guys for real?”

We are all working hard behind the scenes, our Facebook page is growing week by week, we are now on Twitter (yes, these are shameless plugs to get you to FOLLOW US and SHARE!).

This website is under development though, so you will just have to bear with us and suggest some content (please)! :P

Our annual concert is happening on the 5th October, 7pm at St Lukes Church, Grimethorpe. All our players are working hard to make sure we sound fantastic on the night and we have some fantastic solos in our programme… Tickets are £4 – and every penny goes into the band funds so we can keep playing and teaching brass to anyone who wants to learn.
